The Super Eagles defender had a good evening, making 4 tackles, 4 clearances and 2 interceptions as Hoffenheim kept a clean sheet against SC Freiburg in the German Bundesliga.

Alex ‘Big 17’ Iwobi continues to flourish in midfield under Frank Lampard. He provided the assist for the only goal of the game, as Everton grabbed their first English Premier League win of the season.

'Samu' Chukwueze was a thorn in the side of Sevilla as he created 3 goalscoring chances for his side during his 59 minutes on the pitch. Villarreal were unfortunately held to a 1-1 draw at home.
