Nnadozie Chiamaka delighted to make UWCL history with Paris FC
Super Falcons and Paris FC Chiamaka Nnadozie, has expressed her delight at how well her career has progressed thus far.
At the age of 19, the former Rivers Angels goalkeeper made her national team debut for the Super Falcons at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.
Nnadozie's outstanding goalkeeping efforts helped Nigeria qualify for the round of 16 before being ousted by Germany, but she had done enough to entice French suitors.
When Paris FC approached her, she accepted and moved to Europe, where she has progressed in leaps and bounds over the last two years.
Paris FC has now secured a place in the UEFA Women's Champions League for next season.
After 19 league games, Paris FC have 44 points in the 12-team league, ten points ahead of the next-placed team, Fleury 91 Femininés.
Nnadozie has been a standout goalie for the club situated in the French capital, as well as the Super Falcons.
The young goalie is regarded as one of the senior national team's most essential players, having played in a large number of games at such a young age.
Nnadozie will be the fourth Nigerian to play in the Champions League next season, behind Asisat Oshoala, Christy Uchebe and Rasheedat Ajibade.
