Kingsley Michael resumes light training after four months out with ankle injury

Super Eagles midfielder, Kingsley Michael, has returned to training, after being out of action with an ankle injury for four months.

Michael suffered a broken ankle injury that made him miss AFCON 2021 and most part of the 2021-2022 season.

The 22-year-old suffered the horrific blow during Bologna’s 1-1 draw at Udinese on the 17th of October 2021.

Kingsley went through surgery immediately after he got injured and has now returned to light training.

Before his injury, Michael had featured two times for the Serie A side with both coming as a substitute.

Reacting to his return, the midfielder says he can’t wait to return to the pitch.

“First day on the pitch after 4 months, with God all things are possible. Feels good to put on my football shoe, can't wait to start with the team🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾TRUST GOD,”
