Ucheibe celebrates quadruple triumph with SL Benfica

- Super Falcons midfielder, Christy Ucheibe is celebrating after winning four titles with Portuguese giants SL Benfica this season.
Ucheibe and Benfica's impressive feat was sealed with a 4-1 victory over Racing Power on Sunday, securing the Liga BPI, Taça de Liga, Campeonato Nacional Feminino, and Taça de Portugal for Benfica Feminino.
The 23-year-old Nigerian international, crucial in securing Nigeria's Summer Olympics ticket, joined Benfica from Swedish club Assi IF in 2020. She has since been pivotal in Benfica’s success, helping the team win consecutive league titles from 2021 to 2024.
Expressing her joy on social media, Ucheibe wrote, “God is not done with me yet. It is a quadruple—too many blessings in one season. Believe and trust in God; He will always come through for you.”
With these victories, Ucheibe now holds four Taça da Liga titles, four Campeonato Nacional Feminino titles, and two Supertaca de Portugal titles.
As Nigeria prepare for the Paris Olympics, Ucheibe remains a key player for the Super Falcons.
She played a vital role in Nigeria’s recent win against South Africa and is expected to be crucial in the upcoming campaign against Brazil, Spain, and Japan.
