GK - STANLEY NWABALI - CHIPPA UNITED
Goalkeeper Nwabali was one of the biggest reasons Chippa United left Sekhukhune United's Peter Mokaba Stadium with a share of the spoils. The 26-year-old made four crucial saves, including Roderick Kabwe's stoppage-time penalty, to guide his side to a 1-1 draw and outshine all other Nigerian stoppers at the weekend.
CB - KEVIN AKPOGUMA - HOFFENHEIM
Akpoguma was excellent in defence as he helped Hoffenheim halt a terrible eight-match losing streak with a much-needed 3-1 win over Hertha Berlin.
In a man-of-the-match-worthy performance, Akpoguma made ten dribbles and was involved in a game-high 16 duels.
CB - STEPHEN EZE - QUEENS PARK FC
Stephen Eze came up big for Queens Park FC in defence and attack as he grabbed his side's winning goal in the 2-1 triumph over Inverness CT. The Makurdi-born defender was deservedly named the man of the match.
CB - KINGSLEY EHIZIBUE - UDINESE
In a match that saw AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic become the oldest player to score in Serie A, Kingsley Ehizibue stole the headlines from the giant Swede as he scored the last goal in Udinese's 3-1 win. Ehizibue was diligent in defence as well as he won four of his duels.
CM - WILFRED NDIDI - LEICESTER CITY
Wilfred Ndidi returned to Leicester City's starting lineup, and he showed the Foxes what they had been missing with two tackles, four interceptions, four clearances, and six won duels in a dominant display in midfield against Brentford.
CM - KELECHI NWAKALI - PONFERRADINA
Nwakali was once again one of Ponferradina's best players as he contributed five dribbles and four tackles and won 12 duels to guide his side to a narrow home win.
CAM - CHUBA AKPOM - MIDDLESBROUGH
Akpom showed again why he is the best player in the Championship as he scored for the fourth consecutive game, netting his 24th league strike and creating three chances, one of which led to Cameron Archer's second goal in Boro's 4-0 mauling of Preston North End.
LF - RASHEEDAT AJIBADE - ATLETICO MADRID
Rasheedat Ajibade was again decisive for Atletico Madrid as she scored one of the fastest goals in the Primeira Division Femenina to lead her side to a 3-1 away win at Alhama
ST - VICTOR OSIMHEN - NAPOLI - STAR OF THE WEEK
Victor Osimhen became the highest-scoring Nigerian footballer in a single campaign in Europe's top five leagues as he grabbed two expert headers to help Napoli shoot down Torino.
The Super Eagles striker now has 21 Serie A goals to increase the distance between himself and his rivals for the top goalscorer award.
ST - ODION IGHALO - AL HILAL
Al Hilal needed a win to keep in touch with the leaders of the Saudi Premier League, and Odion Ighalo came uo with the goods, netting once and assisting another en route to a convincing win for the champions.
RF - SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE - VILLARREAL
Chuwkueze kept up his brilliant form in La Liga as he smashed home a lovely volley - and had another cool finish chalked off by VAR - to power Villarreal to a well-earned win at Osasuna
