Emeka Eze joins Turkish 1.Lig club Eyüpspor
Nigerian forward, Emeka Eze has signed with Turkish 1.Lig club Eyüpspor.
With 16 goals in 30 games, the 25-year-old concluded the 2021–2022 season as the second-highest goalscorer in the Turkish second division, a remarkable feat given that Ankara Keçiörengücü finished 12th in the 19-team league.
Eze is a well travelled footballer with experiences in four countries namely; Cameroon, Finland, Austria and Turkey.
Before joining RoPs in Finland in 2017, he played for Cameroonian clubs Oxygène de Mfou and Aigle Royal Menoua.
Eze also played for Austrian team, Sturm Graz, where he scored eight goals in 54 games over the course of four years.
He has lived in Turkey since 2019, first playing on loan for Adanaspor before making a permanent move to Ankara Keçiörengücü in the winter of 2021.
Eyüpspor could have been competing in the Super Lig next season but they were defeated 2-1 by Istanbulspor in the playoff final on June 2,2022.
