- Napoli forward Victor Osimhen will not be available for the three-time Afcon winners when they face the former European champions in Lisbon
Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has reported to the Nigeria camp in Lisbon, bringing the total number of players preparing for the international friendly against Portugal to 23.
The former Golden Eaglets star joins a camp already brimming with the talents of Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, KRC Genk goal-machine Paul Onuachu, and Aris FC midfield dynamo Oghenekaro Etebo.
Ndidi returns to the national team fold after injury forced him out of Nigeria's friendly loss to Algeria in October.
Onuachu teams up with manager Jose Peseiro for the first time since the Portuguese tactician was named the Super Eagles head coach in May. Etebo also returns after being overlooked for last month's friendly in Oran.
Also in the Super Eagles camp are new invitees Boavista's Bruno Onyemaechi and Fenerbahce's Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Goalkeepers Maduka Okoye and Adebayo Adeleye have also landed in Portugal alongside vice-captain William Troost-Ekong and the Premier League-based quartet of Alex Iwobi, Emmanuel Dennis, Joe Aribo, and Frank Onyeka.
Cyriel Dessers, called in as a late replacement for injured Napoli star Victor Osimhen, arrived in Portugal on Monday evening alongside Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.
In the absence of Victor Osimhen, coach Peseiro can also count on prolific Lorient striker Terem Moffi, who is already in Portugal.
Super Eagles, under the guidance of head coach Jose Peseiro, trained on Monday and Tuesday as they prepared to face Portugal on Thursday, 17th of November, at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
